So,

My predecessors stories were all true. But I decided to give Cotonti a change. Well, my mistake. Biggest mistake you guys are making is Sienna. Most plugins do not work, not even with genoa compatibility. Support sucks bigtime (questions remain unanswered, core errors are ignored). Community is not exsistend or already dead. And now the bad sides are outweighing the good features. Will return to the CMS I am used to, and will leave Cotonti for what it is: A project doomed to die out.

Our "biggest mistake" is currently marked as "testing". This means we cannot guarantee its stability and plenty of plugins immediately. It takes months to settle down.

Supports sucks of course, you don't get it 24/7 and bugs fixed immediately like you get it in any other CMS. Seriously, you can't get that if the team is a small group of volunteers and the community mostly consists of people who want to get their aims achieved without helping others. If you don't seed, you don't harvest. Maybe this is not true for other systems and communities.

Anyways, thank you for taking a look at our project and posting very important bug reports and helping others with your experience. I really appreciate that and I'm disappointed that you leave.

May the Source be with you!

Explaining your plugin requirements would have helped. Good luck with whatever you're getting back to.

I personally show no sympathy for anyone who decides to leave this community due to the lack of plugins/support. At the age of 12 by merely just looking at code I taught myself to make these simple changes most cry for (thanks to ldu<3). Like most things in this world, nothing is going to be handed to you, and as a website administrator you have to put the time/effort into creating things to meet your needs. Demanding others to give it to you, due to your lack of effort to learn the scripting languages, is noones fault other than your own.

With that said, It does suck to lose another community member who contributed bug reports and what-not, however, as explained by trustmaster, seina is still in a testing state and is not officially complete to run a live website.

I wish you the best of luck with whatever CMS you are returning to.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

Word! But still, something is missing in that Community...
