Hello, well I have been rattling my brain trying to figure out the why my download links don't work for some of my members on my site.
http://riddleofsteel.net/list.php?c=downloads The downloads on the pages work for me in my chrome browser but not in firefox for IE, and for some members they dont work at all, they click the links and the page refreshes, some can get it to work if they click it really fast alot... its weird... Please help if you can, thanks. |

It is not about browsers or clicking. Check www alias in your webserver settings or in the template: http://riddleofsteel.net/page.php?id=88&a=dl doesn't work while http://www.riddleofsteel.net/page.php?id=88&a=dl does.

Maybe it is your rewrite rules for the urls.... Disable that and try again... ==- I say: Keep it EZ -==

I actually just turned on the rewrite rules to see if it would fix it... they were off the other day.
Added 12 days later: Still having issues with the downloads, any other thoughts? |

Check .htaccess and urltrans.dat to make sure it really is off. Then check $cfg['mainurl'] and make sure it does not conflict the website CP settings. Think of the plugins that might affect the links. Try switching to sed-light or using blank db with your skin.
