1. Edit Category - FRONTEND

How about a "Edit Category" button near "Submit a new entry"?
By clickin on that button, you could edit the category options like :

title
description
icon
enable comments
enable ratings

It would save admin from going back to administration, pages, structures, cat options

2. Sorting Options included in Category Options

Instead of going to "Set a default sorting order for the categories" and then looking for a category you need to edit, wouldn't it be easier for everyone to include "Order: Title Ascending"
in "Options" for category.

So it would look like:

Code :  	
Path : 	
Title : 	
Description : 	
Icon (URL) : 	
Group : 	
Template mode : 	Default
Same as
Same as the parent category
Enable comments : 	Yes No
Enable ratings : 	Yes No
Check the counters : 	Resync
Order by: Title Ascending

What do you think?

1st idea could be the plugin, but second should be included by default.
