I just set up the first portal using the page internationalization plugin and I have to say it's amazing.

Real time switching between loads of languages for both pages, system and more. Amazing.

Currently using five languages simultaneously.

Anyone even remotely interested in this plugin should try it at once!

I will wait for Kilandor to say what his improvements were done to it (like switching of whole languages) but for the moment here are my improvements from the top of my hat:

- option to create version in all languages (like a checkbox on page.add) (when making one language it could make the other four with the same information - since the current problem is the live switching works only if the page exists, but gives a 950 if it doesnt)

- real time translation into other versions via google translate API (for example I would make an english version of the site, then the system would send that version to GT's API and return it in all other versions that are set up - after that it can be hugely improved by a natural speaker of that language, but it would be a nice first step)

Yeah, it sounds very interesting :)
