You can use different TPL's for them.

For example:

- page.nameofcat.tpl
- page.list.nameofcat.tpl
- etc...

Make sure they match the category.

Does this also work in Genoa? I've been using this engine since it was Land Down Under and I like Genoa, because of it's familiarity and plug-ins.
