# pieter : Elgan, one question. you can change the number of pictures. You do this in admin section. Go to the config section of admin. administration-Config-Filmstrip. The film strip is the bit you tlak about. you can change the number for "items in gallery film strip" Thiswill make it fit your skin. See i though of everything ![]() It is possible but not easily. The reason being it uses a plugin like the one on cotonti to show the images, it links to all that it finds. (the ones in the gallery view bit under the main image, which i call filmstrip). To make it show all images in "image view mode" it would need some ajax fetching. Just like the slide-shown that can be placed on the front of a "folder" /category. So it would just need the tag code ripping to the secton of the film strip and some navigation added. If i get time ill show u how. I dont think its alot of work but a bit of work, the code is pretty much all their already/ Elgan, Yes i did create an import plugin for medialibrary1 to medialibrary2. It imported categories and media and comments but not yet "ratings" and tests initially showed it worked quite well. I ddint release it as i hadnt had time or suffiiant test data or test material to get ratings working correctly. I also had a mass import script made for the plugin, ready for its release. it pretty much just went though all of a single folder and subfolders, adding images to the gallery for a specified user. again i didnt release it as i didnt think it was functional enough. I wanted it to be able to be a bit more configurable as it was simply "what folder? who ownes the images?" and then the images would all add to the needed folders and database. I can release them 2 if u want, if i can find them. maybe someone can work on them while im gone, make them more specific for certain other galleries/ maybe i can try and make them into a small class or API? would that be better or more helpful? Added 4 hours 21 minutes later: well i updated the www.mods-r-us.net/medialibrary.rar with a folder named importers. it contains the medilibrary1 importer and a second script to import from folders of media. both have had hardly any testing but initially worked. i also made a second rar on www.mods-r-us.net/importers.rar with just these scripts in. both should be tested before using them, and both probably a little incomplete, could be more functional. |
