Avatar and Photo

Members	When i try to upload an avatar on my site it does not show up, neither does the photos. I tried to upload a avatar of 48x48 and the size of it is 5.87kb. The default for my site is that the picture must be (64x64x8000). My avatar does rreach these specifications. Why won't it show?
