For Firefox, View the favicon directly such as http://www.cotonti.com/favicon.ico then return to the main page it will be refreshed.

For IE View the favicon directly such as http://www.cotonti.com/favicon.ico then close IE, then open it back up and it will be refreshed.

Just an alternative to clearing your cache.
