field is a must have for clans if they use it for being on the trainings etc, then it's good to know if someone will or won't be there

Right. That's normal RSVP behaviour - check any event site on the web, or facebook.

'I won't be there' is definately useful. Actually the client I'm building all this for doesn't need the 'I'll be there' option, but the 'I won't be there' option.

V3.0 now also supports setting a certain usergroup to be 'available' by default. This forces users to use the 'I won't be there' option if they are not available.

Could you add the option to display a list of events on the index? without or at least seperate from the calander?

hmmmmm great that force "i won't be there", love it already ;-) , perfect for training and war sessions for clan.

But for the other evens that aren't forced to that group will have the "i'll be there" option in it to click on?

Yes, I'll be there will still be available. The only thing I added was an SQL query that sets user participation to 'available' for all users inside the selected group, when you're adding the event (event.add). It's not possible to change it later on (event.edit).

Is the Events plugin going to work with the new release of Cotonti (0.0.6) ?
Since, after the upgrade one can't add events or edit them !?

I'm currently really desperate for it to work...

Added 10 days later:

Is there anyone who know how i can get this plugin to work under 0.6.+ versions of Cotonti ?

Open events/inc/events.add.inc.php
Comment or remove lines 229 and 230 ($bbcodes... and $smilies...).

Open events/inc/events.edit.inc.php
Comment or remove lines 190 and 191 (same thing)

Out of curiosity has anyone noticed that clicking on a date on the mini calendar brings up the date before (eg clicking April 10th will go to April 9th on the actual events page).

I haven't actually done any digging yet as I just noticed it.

HI everyone. How would you add a calander as a menu link?

Added 4 minutes later:

Sorry should explain a bot more. What I'm trying to do is have a menu link to a calandar from the home page for game events. How do i setup the menu link to a calandar? How do i enter events on that calander.

As you might have gathered I am new at using Cotonti. Any help will be much appreciated.

You probably need http://www.yoursite.com/plug.php?e=calendar
This will give you a large view of the calendar on it's own page.

You can set menu items in Admin -> Config -> Menus.
