Hi,

I have just downloaded Siena 0.9.4, but I can't install it. It keeps telling me "Unable to connect to MySQL database. Please check your settings.". But the settings are 100% correct, I login with them in PhpMyAdmin.

Maybe it's the port issue? I can't set a port anywhere (it's 3307 in my case).

You're right, it's a port issue. Try entering this as host name: localhost;port=3307

Thank you, it worked :)

Now I'm a bit puzzled whether to leave it as a "feature" or add a separate field/config to set MySQL port number (if non-standard).

Other CMSes usually have a form field to set up a port. It might be good to add it.

At least in installation form.

OK, added a ticket for that for 0.9.5.

Added 23 hours later:

Added port selection in git/master, please test.
