Can you please put CoTemplate into 0.6.xx branch...

and rename it as XTemplate.

I understood earlier that this should be fairly simple... and I would really really like to use it in Genoa..

I hoping on some reactions here... :)

I can do it to.... but I need some instructions on that...

In Co-Template there are many more features you can use in TPL like nested IF's and more....
So you can do the layout more easy.

Well, why don't you just try it? Replace your xtemplate.php with the cotemplate.php from Siena (rename it to xtemplate.php ofcourse). The class name is still XTemplate, it's just the filename. Let us know if it works smiley

Tried it..

It works :D

Now have to remember with each update that I've done this..

I had no idea it could be that simple smiley...... i am going to do that right away tonight

For the ppl who want to know what this Co-Template can do...
Gert wrote a page for this: http://www.cotonti.com/docs/ext/themes/cotemplate_advanced

My interest were mainly the NESTED Logic blocks..... IF Then inside IF THEN inside the TPL files.
Realy nice to have that....

small question: Why dont we distribute it with Genoa.... ????  (If its that simple....)

Thanx Gert

That article is quite new, but I think its very valuable. I'm glad you like it too. As for backporting CoTemplate to Genoa, that's up to Trustmaster since CoTemplate is mostly his baby. I think it won't be a problem but its possible I'm missing something. Unfortunately I haven't seen him online lately.
