Soo,

on this part of the planet there's a lot going on when it comes down to privacy, cookies, tracking etc..
I was wondering if Cotonti is going to get influenced by those rules? Or if Cotonti is going to provide some easy or simple options to comply to those rules.

I have seen some other CMS systems that already have (for example) the option to select if cookies must be used (or not) when logging in.

Maybe it's wise to implement this in Cotonti to, for all those European Cotonti users that are affected by those rules.

For me personally it's something in the category 'meh, why bother', my sites are small and do not attract a lot of visitors. Besides a twit and Fb button I do not have anything that tracks, logs, or dissect my visitors. But I can imagine that there are some large European sites that use cotonti and some kind of tracking system (like google a.o.) which are directly influenced by these new rules

Just my 2 cents..
