Пользователь не должен думать о том,  как ему вывести html карту и что для этого нужно установить. Он должен включить ее в админке и добавить ссылку в меню сайта.

Лишние сложности отталкивают пользователей.

Да и механизм построения хмл карты и хтмль схожи.
