hmmm. just restricting access to the values would leave you with empty html-containers. so doing this with xtemplate is really not that bad. also, extrafields are most often used in regular blocks like LIST_ROW, so this is really not that bad too. otherwise this would require a sophisticated plugin.

is it possible to add user extra fields that become visible from a certain group up? If so how?

I know you can do alot with <--blah blah-->
But how do I set this so (for example) lvl 50 to lvl 99 can view it..
