the question is: "is ffmpeg enabled on your server?" if its not there won't be any thumbnails!

iam using compiled ffmpeg linux version for video thumbnails. mediaBay supports: mp3, avi, divx, mpg, flv, swf, jpg, png, gif

the mp3, flv player is a skinable version of the jw player. the mp3 player has a visualition plugin.

Maybe you should wait, Elgan actually has remade his old medialibrary. Totaly revamped/new support for media/videos all sorts of things I think even ffmpeg, If i remember right it has something like 149+ files too it.

I haven't seen it, nor do I know when it will be ready for release, but I think hes pretty far into it.

hmm. to be true i have done over 80% of this project already. so i think i have it done in a week or so...

it will be basicly the usergal just new name and some more functions and complete skinability.
so for a medialibrary is still enough room...

Yeah, MediaLibrary is about 90% done as well, I've done the alpha test and it looks like it's an amazing successor. The beta will be released withing a day or two for all to try/use. With full sed_url conformity and dynamic titles and metas.

Yours uses PFS?

Guess MediaBay is more like a collab library while MediaLibrary can function like a deviantart-style gallery with comment ratios (you have to do 3 comments for every picture submitted - so images actually get comments) and upload limiting (one upload per x hours).

Been testing and making suggestions while Elgan have developed it and can say for sure that it really rocks. :-)

yeah its more like to build a flickr or youtube like site.
and uses pfs.

but currently iam building a pfs like image management inside the mediaBay that you can "manage" more you images. groups and everything else like that.

I'm looking forward for both of them.

I have a private site, and biggest part of it are pictures.
But the galleries for the moment are not exactly what I'm looking for.
For the moment I moved to the URLKiller Gallery, but the biggest part is still a 3th party gallery, and not integrated.

Let me know I you want me to test it.

How is it coming along? When do you expect it to be released?
