The "ghost" is very misleading in my opinion, if its checked when moving It leaves a "moved topic" link in the previous forum category. If you uncheck it, it leaves no link and just moves it.
The only way to remove such a link is to manually delete it in the sql, or move the topic back, then move it again and before you move it back out un-check it so it doesn't leave it. |
